Larry King Secretly Removed Wife From Will Before Death

Couldn't think of a better last name for him.

I never knew much about Larry King. I knew he was an icon and TV personality, but I wasn't in his target demographic so I never watched his show. I saw clips here and there on YouTube and I just thought he was a hard nosed man who delivered heavy hitting interviews. It wasn’t until his passing that I realized the man was an absolute savage.

In 2019 at the ripe age of 85 he decided he wanted to divorce his wife Shawn. I thought that was an odd decision, why divorce someone at such an old age? I just assumed it would be easier to just separate and not put yourself through that stress. That was until I saw that Shawn was his SEVENTH wife! One woman he actually married and divorced twice bringing his marriage total to eight. This wasn't going to be some exhausting mountain to climb for King, this was just another walk in the park. For the past year they have remained friendly, although Shawn was shocked to find out King had a secret will made where he wrote her out.

"This is my Last Will & Testament. It should replace all previous writings. In the event of my death, any day after the above date I want 100% of my funds to be divided equally among my children Andy, Chaia, Larry Jr., Chance & Cannon."

Dude’s a bona fide legend. He really went to the grave holding his cards to his chest, something not many can say. Is it upsetting he never found true love? Maybe. The man was a millionaire and got as he pleased, and he most certainly seemed to be enjoying life. Shawn has stated that there was a previous will written by the both of them that still exists and she is owed a share of his property. She will be going to court over this. She claims it's about the principle, not the money. Riiiiiiiight.

Just because the Subaru Impreza I got rid of years ago still exists doesn't make it mine. And just because she has some piece of paper written years ago doesn't make her ex husband's property hers. I imagine King is looking down hysterically laughing as he watches this situation unfold. Larry brought a crazy secret to the grave, and my guess is his final will and testament will be upheld.
