UFC on ESPN: Munhoz vs Edgar Parlay

Shawn Craymen

1. Munhoz def. Edgar

This is an extremely exciting fight for fans that we wish we saw years ago. Jersey’s very own Frankie Edgar is making his debut at 135 which a lot of people say is his natural weight class he should have been fighting at while he was building up a legendary resume as an undersized fighter at 155 and 145. This is too little too late however and 38 year old Frankie coming off two KO losses losing to the heavy handed Munhoz is pretty much chalk. Sad, because for a while it looked like Frankie could’ve been the one to beat Dominick Cruz and have a long title reign at 135. Give me Munhoz for -255 even though I hate favorites this heavy.

Munhoz - -255

2. Alonzo Menifeld vs Ovince St Preaux

Another fight of the old guard vs the new guard. Alonzo Menifeld is a relative newcomer to the UFC with a 9-1 record and very very heavy hands. OSP looked mediocre in his last fight at heavyweight but he has a chance to redeem himself here. He doesn’t have the best record in the world but OSP is a tough veteran who last got knocked out by Jimi Manuwa 4 years ago. The thing with this fight is OSP is too tough, too experienced to lose to someone like Menifeld who just gets by on punching power. I can go on about how poor his fight IQ is but I’ll save you the boredom and say take OSP +105.

St Preaux - +105
Parlay - +185
