Elon Musk Shows Us the Key To Success Is Memes

Surpassing Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk is now the world's richest person. Get your Tesla tequila out.

Lucifer Morningstar

Elon has propelled himself to the richest man in the world, stepping over Bezos like Iverson over Lue. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has a total net worth of $188.5 billion- $1.5 billion more than Bozo, I mean Bezos.

Elon has a 20 percent stake in Tesla, benefitting from Wall Street's hype and bandwagoning analysts. Not only that, but $40 billion of unrealized paper gains on vested stock options. Those securities came from two grants he got back in 2012 and 2018, the latter of which was the largest pay deal ever struck between a CEO and a corporate board. If Elon can convert Tesla's balance sheet to Bitcoin, the stock price will be going to Mars in no time.

" I want to be able to contribute as much as possible to the city on Mars." - Elon Musk

Musk's rise to the top has been in benefit to the 4.8 percent increase in Tesla's share price on Thursday. Congrats longs! This milestone marks an incredible year for Musk, over the past 12 months his net worth has soared by more than $150 billion in quite possibly the fastest generation of wealth in history. His riches have been acquired through Tesla consistency, investor enthusiasm and inclusion in the S&P 500.

There's also one more element, and that's the child-hearted memes he tweets on the internet. I crack up every time, and that's what it should be about! Having fun and making money.  Too many people take themselves too seriously, and I just don't think that's a great way to live. Whatever floats your boat man. I'll be rooting for Musk and maybe my memes will land me on Forbes one day. Probably not.
