UFC Fight Night 187 Picks and Predictions

Picks and predictions for UFC Fight Night 187: Edwards vs Muhammad

Shawn Craymen

Following a banger of a Pay Per View the UFC is delivering a solid fight night. Top contender Leon Edwards is fighting for the first time in a long time and there are some solid fights on the main card. Let's get into my picks.

Dan Ige vs. Gavin Tucker

This one’s a banger. Ige’s original opponent Ryan Hall was originally scheduled for this fight but dropped out and Tucker took his place. Both of these guys are fun strikers that are down to throw hands but I think Ige has proven to be more skilled of a striker than Gavin. I’m taking Dan Ige with this one.

Ige: -150

Belal Muhammad vs. Leon Edwards

I’ll be honest, this is a tough one. Leon Edwards is undoubtedly one of the top welterweights in the UFC winning 8 straight since losing to current champ Kamaru Usman nearly six years ago. The only problem is it’s been about 600 days since he last fought. There are so many questions going into this one. How will he handle ring rust? Will he still be able to make weight? How will he handle fighting in the pandemic? These are all things that could tilt the scales in favor of Muhammad. Regardless, Edwards will dominate. He’s a far better fighter in every respect and Belal got hurt in his last fight which was just about a month ago. Belal is a good fighter but Edwards is better.

Edwards: -260
