Solid choice by the NFL. Other than having a beautiful voice, the only thing I know about him is he was Selena Gomez's rebound from the Biebs.

He's got a lot to live up to after JLO and Shakira made every middle-aged man feel some type of way. Just ask Michael Wilbon.

When a middle-aged man can put JLO and Shakira over Prince, you know he had a half chub throughout the 15-minute show. He even dropped a "lordy" in there...

My only concern is it seems like all of The Weeknd's songs are dark and depressing. I feel like the Super Bowl Halftime Show is usually upbeat and happy. Hence stars like Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, and Katy Perry taking the stage in recent years.
