This is one freaky story.
How did this story not resurface all these years later? In 1983, Terry Bradshaw checked himself in a hospital using the alias Thomas Brady. I'm assuming he did that because he was one of the more popular athletes back in the '70s and '80s. Bradshaw had to get surgery on his elbow, which ended up being career-ending.
It's one of those crazy connections. Almost like those JFK and Lincoln connections you hear about. In a quote from The Athletic, Bradshaw mentions his connection to Brady.
“There’s no question he and I are linked at the hip — same initials, same number. I had hair back then. I was a sex symbol. I had it all going then.”
Bradshaw is one of the best QBs to play. Four Super Bowls, two Super Bowl MVPs, along with a few Pro Bowls.
Who would've thought that the alias Bradshaw used in 1983 would turn out to be the greatest player to ever play in the NFL. Bradshaw needs to give me some lottery numbers for the next Mega Millions drawing.
