Nikola Jokic becomes the lowest draft pick ever to win MVP

If you haven't heard, it was announced that Nikola Jokic is the 2020-21 NBA MVP.

The lowest draft selection to ever win MVP. He was drafted so low, a Taco Bell commercial aired when he was selected.

Jokic is one of my favorite players in the league because of his story. It shows that you don't need to be an insane athlete to win MVP. We live in a world where kids specialize in one sport and are put through the wringer at a young age. Does this kid look like a superstar player in the NBA or someone that sits in front of a computer and watches Twitch streams all day?

Jokic gives hope to all the chubby kids that they can make it (we're going to ignore being 6'11" having a huge part of him becoming a professional basketball player).

My favorite Jokic story is he used to pound a gallon of Coke every day. For every young athlete out there, maybe drinking a shit ton of Coke as a kid will help you become the league MVP.

Credit to Jokic, he shredded a lot of weight. He's now a slim beast in the post that can shoot, pass, or bang it down low. There's another doughy boy in Dallas that can take a page out of Jokic's book. He's already one of the best players in the league, but maybe he can take his game to another level if he shreds some of that baby fat off. Not naming any names. Just praying for the league if that happens.
