Jacob & Co. Auctions NFT Watch

NFT madness continues with a watch from Jacob & Co.

Shawn Craymen

The NFT space has been booming as of late and artists have been fetching massive prices for their artwork and ummm body parts. People are waiting to see what’s coming next and of course Jacob & Co. is the one to sell a watch via NFT.

It was bound to happen at one point. Being original is nothing new to Jacob, he made the Five Time Zone that changed how people view watches from a styling and fashion perspective and made engineering marvels like the Astronomia and Bugatti Chiron you see on many celebrities. To make a purely digital watch available in NFT form is something unimaginable, but who else than Jacob.

The watch in question is a very cool piece. It is a modified version of the SF24 Tourbillion that replaces the names of cities that are normally on the flap boards with the names of the top 10 cryptocurrencies. Auctioning started yesterday on ArtGrails and quickly broke six figures. The demand got to the point where they shut down the auction and are restarting on April 7th. NFTs are going crazy and while I don’t think I’m alone in not knowing exactly what an NFT is I’m excited to see what comes next. What do you make of this? Let us know what you think in the comments.
