Get Paid to be a Jerk: New Startup is Recruiting Workers to Evict Tenants.

Just when I thought things couldn't get worse.

Lucifer Morningstar

  • Civvl, a company offering "Home Clean Outs", has recently posted listings across the country to encourage workforce to become home evictors.
  • Advertising their business as the "FASTEST GROWING MONEY MAKING GIG DUE TO COVID-19".
  • The CDC is temporarily halting residential evictions, however Civvl's terms appear to pass on responsibility to the landlords to ensure legalities on evictions. Lame.

As usual, whenever the sky is falling down, there's always a jerk-off waiting to profit (and sometime's that's us, whatever.) Millions of Americans have been squeezed by the damaging effects of the pandemic, and with this pain comes the inability to pay rent due to financial hardships. Without being able to pay rent, many face eviction.

Civvl, a startup owned by OnQall (what is it with shitty startups and proper grammar?), is posting ads on Craigslist nationwide offering to pay $125 to traumatize innocent toddlers, fling possessions out the window, wreck any semblance of a home left, and obliterate the faith in humanity you had.

A listing in Nashville

Their listing offers all your typical perks, such as flexible hours, "your own boss" and plenty of work (Jesus). I'm sure those all sound great, especially the part where you are sugar-coated in the sweet tears and demise of others. Typical get rich quick weasels, they'd have a more nobility in selling poked condoms.
