At the end of the day, none of this matters. Ohio State is in the College Football Playoffs.
There are definitely arguments that can be had, but Ohio State is obviously one of the best four teams in the country. Dabo has bitched and moaned all season. With COVID and scheduling, it seemed like he had a new complaint every week.
The reason he's undermining Ohio State is clear. He'd rather play Texas A&M or Cincinnati over Ohio State. I personally think Cincinnati should've been in over Ohio State or Notre Dame. As we all know, a group of five team will never get in over blue bloods. For god's sake, the committee put Oklahoma at six!
The College Football Selection Committee saved Kevin Warren. Imagine if Ohio State didn't get in because they only played six games? I'm sure AD's and boosters would've been ready to fire him immediately if they didn't get any of that College Football Playoff money.
Again, none of this matters. I don't think it will matter for Clemson or Alabama either. I see Alabama destroying Notre Dame and Clemson beating Ohio State pretty easily in their rematch of last year's Fiesta Bowl.
For Dabo, play the game and stop complaining. You're easily becoming the most hated man in college football.
