Canada DENIES the Raptors

The Raptors will be taking their talents.... to the Sunshine State.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, considering Canada denied the Blue Jays to play in Toronto a few months ago.

With COVID on it's bullshit again, Shams reported the Raptors plan to playing in Tampa Bay this season.

Can they catch the Tampa Bay luck? The Lightning just won the Stanley Cup, the Rays made the World Series, and the Bucs are contenders for the Super Bowl. If this trend continues, the Tampa Bay Raptors should be competing in the Finals this year.

Luckily for the NBA, Toronto is the only team they have in Canada. It will be interesting to see what the NHL does with multiple teams above the border. Once I think about it, hockey runs Canada so they'll probably let it slide.

Let's all hope and pray we get a complete NBA season. With COVID cases rising by the day, the last thing we need is another mid-season cancellation.
